True - Solid Beeswax does not smoke...  unlike the "burn off" that you get with paraffin wax. 

It is important to trim the wick to within 1/4" from the top of the candle!
The head of the flame evaporates the beeswax which is why it does not smoke. 

"NATURAL" Beeswax Candles... does NOT mean 100% Pure Solid Beeswax! 
Some beeswax candles are blended with other wax and oil derivities - none of which is mentioned on their label!
